Telecom New Zealand required a product to offer to business customers that combined the power of email and TXT to send messages to groups or individuals from simple to use email, web and mobile platforms. They chose eTXT because it provided an immediate, cost effective and simple way for business people to reach staff, suppliers and customers - straight to their text capable mobile phone.

eTXT recipients can reply from their New Zealand mobile knowing that their replies will go to the right person whether the message was sent from email or via the easy to use web site.

eTXT combines the convenience of email with the flexibility, speed and reach of text messaging.

Telecom New Zealand's eTXT service is based upon the same technology platform as offered by the Bulletin Messenger service. Bulletin Wireless integrated the service into the Telecom New Zealand environment, providing customized branding, billing and provisioning interfaces.
